The name of our group is Zie’L, which definition is 'achieving goals through Christ'.  I attended public school in Caddo Parish, and in middle school I was a member of Chorale Ensemble under the direction of Mr. Charles Washington where our choir won excellence awards and achieved 1st place in festivals.
 
I am a very proud disciple of the Bright Star Baptist Church-Metro, where my pastor is Rev. Patrick L. Dennis. I was given my first solo part in the youth choir at the age of nine, and then my sister Christina and I were given a duo part by Ms. Elease Lee and the late Dr. Judy Battle. Each year I was a participant in the C.E. Galloway Annual Youth Rally Choir until the age of 19.
 
I graduated from Captain Shreve High School in 2002, and studied at Bossier Parish Community College. I soon transferred to Southern University Shreveport-Bossier to further my education in Business Management, of which I aspire and pray that one day I become the owner of my own real estate company. I also sang in the Southern U. Gospel choir under the direction of Dr. Sonja D. Hester, and also enjoyed watching professional basketball and I am a huge fan of college basketball!
 As a young child I didn’t think I could sing, but with a lot of encouragement from my grandmother, mother, uncles, aunts, and many musicians and friends along with a lot of praying, I now feel the anointing of God upon my voice and my life.  Thank you God for your favor!
