Crystal
Kay Bell, born April 17, 1983 in Shreveport, LA. who's parents are Rev.
Henry L. Moore and Donna H. Moore. My biological father is John H. Bell.
I have two brothers and two sisters, one sister of whom sings with me
as we minister for Christ.
The name of our group is Zie’L, which
definition is 'achieving goals through Christ'. I attended public
school in Caddo Parish, and in middle school I was a member of Chorale
Ensemble under the direction of Mr. Charles Washington where our choir
won excellence awards and achieved 1st place in festivals.
I am a very proud disciple of the Bright Star Baptist Church-Metro,
where my pastor is Rev. Patrick L. Dennis. I was given my first solo
part in the youth choir at the age of nine, and then my sister Christina
and I were given a duo part by Ms. Elease Lee and the late Dr. Judy
Battle. Each year I was a participant in the C.E. Galloway Annual Youth
Rally Choir until the age of 19.
I graduated from Captain Shreve High School in 2002, and studied at
Bossier Parish Community College. I soon transferred to Southern
University Shreveport-Bossier to further my education in Business
Management, of which I aspire and pray that one day I become the owner
of my own real estate company. I also sang in the Southern U. Gospel
choir under the direction of Dr. Sonja D. Hester, and also
enjoyed watching professional basketball and I am a huge fan of college
basketball!
As a young child I didn’t think I could sing, but with a lot of
encouragement from my grandmother, mother, uncles, aunts, and many
musicians and friends along with a lot of praying, I now feel the
anointing of God upon my voice and my life. Thank you God for your
favor!
